Today’s media is still obsessed with looks and appearance, even in spite of people saying the contrary. Some laws are made to stop the whole anorexic side of fashion and that is great, but the truth is that fit people are still idealized and used as role models by a lot of us. Now there is nothing wrong with looking at beauty, but it is the fact that only a certain type of beauty is being shown to us, not one which is anchored in the real world. In reality, looks are important but they’re not everything, and that is certainly the case when dating; whether you’re looking for a long term partner or even just looking for something more casual.

Personality – This is not just something you say about someone when they don’t have the looks. What people have inside matters, it’s what makes them unique.
